The 3 minute purpose test

This is why I retired from blogging, what’s the point when stuff like this is around? I LOATHE IT. It’s too good. I’m going back to pastry, both making and eating.

    I’m sure they’re more than capable of holding their own.
    I did this activity and it was really interesting, what was expected was that people would write different things, but what I didn’t anticipate learning was that what I think when I say “purpose” is not what others do. As a concept in itself, rather than just people writing down different words, they were using purpose in a different way. I think this is because purpose is not a concept or word used in Local Authorities much, especially in Policy style central corporate units.
    The language is more of the hi’falutin variety like “strategic priorities” or “key deliverables”, and the thinking follows suit.

    It’s not what you say, it’s what the other person hears” is another of those things I thought I understood but I’d only memorised.
